Fermenation on untasted American Oak shavings and the proprietary Winery Grape Skins adds intense tannins taste. The Super Tuscan is a wine with an international flair, generally flamboyant, dense and powerful, tannic wine with a flavor of new oak. Made from a Sangiovese grape it often possesses a fascinating suggestion of saltiness (illusion, since salt is not an actual component of wine) and a good portion of acidity that cleans the palate after a bite of food.
