  1. Well that’s a nice help… So, once we decide to approach any company what
should one’s proposal contain?… is it okay to put the desired price for
my idea along with the points how my idea is going to work for their
    existing business?

  2. Hey… I am somewhat im simlar situation, and I have got this meeting today
with one of the key player in my startup field. This video helped me a lot
in understanding what to focus on and how I can impress them and partner up
    :)

  3. Hi Evan, I am an inventor. I have a great idea that I have created. I
would like to present it to a company that can use the product. I have
drawings and even a protype that I personally made. I do not have start up
capital to get a protype. This is a great product and I know that it would
do great in the market. Can you give me some advise on different
approaches/things to do? Thanks HJ Invente

  4. I been watching the shark tank episodes and i seen so many inventions and
so many ideas and they are really great but i have an idea that will sell
and if i invent it won’t cost a lot but i’m sure it will sell really good
so my question is how to show your idea and invent it if you don’t have
that money to build it and who can help you to build it if you don’t have
the money to build it… by the way thank you for your video help a lot….

  5. Hi Evan, We already have a product, proven market, and sales for our
invention. We are patent pending. How can we move forward with contacting
the right people in the companies we wish to license or sell the invention
to? We have two major companies in mind for our invention. Thanks.

  6. Hi i’m Erdi Meco, i’m an individual self-taught iPhone App Developer. My
App called “SeeThat” is in it’ first month live in App Store with over 50
downloads and much data. It’s a Photo/Video app and social network.
My question to you is how can I sell my App to any sort of company, or at
least have companies invest in my app or in me for future successes. I’m
trying to sell it on http://www.apptopia.com, but to no avail. Thankyou Mr. Evan!

  7. How about a mobile app? Is it possible to sell 50% of my ‘idea’ to Google
and tell them that they would have to build it? Or how does all these big
apps get started? Like Instagram, Kik, Snapchat. Did those founders pay a
company to develop their app? And how did they manage to reach so many
users and become nearly unbeatable. But now Facebook’s Slingshot is trying
to trump Snapchat. How can someone prevent that from happening to their app
    idea?

  8. Hi, I have recently been awarded my patent for a database system that could
be used by the big companies Google, Microsoft etc, but I don’t know how to
try set up a meeting. I’m based in the UK. I see the possibilities for
gaming or geographical location..What would your advice be to a very small
R&D company , who has spent their entire savings on getting the patent..You
say approach an up and coming company.. but where would I find this kind of
introduction. Do you know of any networking opportunities in the UK, do you
know anyone in the US that may be able to offer sound advice?
    Your Video is enlightening btw..
    I hope you can help..

  9. What if I had an idea for Barnes and Noble, but I didn’t want to go through
all the complicated selling and research process? Do I contact by sending
them a letter? There doesn’t seem to be an email..

  10. Where would be a good place to go to have a developer make the app for you
or the concept app so I could sell it a big company?

  11. Hello Evan.
Whats your thoughts about this scenario:
You have a prototype of your idea. In need of more funding. Weeks from
meeting with nr1 in the field.

  12. I have a cool Idea for Amazon which can bring a revolution in that field,
But i am little scared, what should i do, First i should try to implement
that or should I directly try to contact them.

  13. Nothing practical given. No mention of how to get to the top person. Who is
the ‘huge guy’? Marketing dept? Head office? Ridiculous babble.

  14. I don’t think you will see this now but I have an idea for car companies to
put on their cars but I don’t know where to start or who to tell I’ve
thought of those tv ads that say you could sell your ideas for money but I
don’t really trust them any tips for that?

  18. Good information, Evan, thank you for sharing. But I am curious as to the
process of presenting the Idea to the company. I have a working prototype.
How do I protect the idea? I hear Patenting costs around $5,000, and I
simply do not have or want to risk that investment for something if it
isn’t bought out by a company. Do I hire a Lawyer at this point? Thanks.

  19. +Evan Carmichael Hi, now let’s say you wanted to sell not just a idea, but
an invention/Product to like Disney and because the idea is already in the
form of a patented product would it be easier to get a marketing deal from
these companies if you’ve already did everything besides marketing and mass
    producing?
